I've heard you should keep Hibiscus in a cage so they don't attack! Shocked

You know I fashioned together an au naturale bean tepee only to discover I planted bush beans!

That melon in the last picture-what is it? I threw down some compost a while back and a seed sprouted. It looks exactly like the one in your picture. So now I have one of them growing in my garden but I don't know what it is.

I got a plague of zucchinni in my garden and it doesn't resemble the melon-ish thing in the picture. I was thinking maybe a honey dew? or a watermelon? Whatever it is, mine is producing a bunch of 'em. Got about 10 the size of softballs and more developing.
    Nice garden BTW.

Yep. I harvested the seeds from a mature squash I had for dinner last year! I've never microwaved it before... I always steam it in a large pan with a bit of water. I think I might prefer spaghetti squash over spaghetti!

Your garden is looking mighty healthy Matt! I like the addition of Farmer Blake!!!

I also have 3 trees just south of the garden A Parent Naval Orange, Dwarf Yellow Hibiscus and a Guava fruit. When the Guava is in bloom the smell is awesome. Right now the Sweet Lime and the orange are about to bloom so the air is sweet with citrus
Where I live is near Victoria Ave/Tyler , sorta in/near the Orange groves and Victoria ave's street lined roses. It's like living in potpourri sunny
